<aside> 💡 This proposal emphasises strategies that can be applied to increase the Viral Co-efficient for Celo as a blockchain, paving the way for new developers to come on and build sustainable protocols and also for increased awareness and adoption of Celo’s amazing solutions. And Also creating a solution to the Vote soliciting issue by Rewarding our top contributor or Ambassadors (as they are referred to in the proposal)

Let’s Look at things from a Growth Marketing Perspective, then tie it back to Product Development, Community and Marketing
The Underlying purpose of Growth Marketing is to achieve Product Market Fit.
To do that, we need to Increase Retention within a product (causing increased usage and adoption), and also drive a viral loop via product development, active product users (community) and marketing.
And the idea behind Celo Sage, simply by looking at the structure, is meant to drive retention back to the celo ecosystem, hence in its make-up, it is built around a Growth Marketing idea:
By creating a massive library of resources that will foster and scale product development in the Celo ecosystem.
I believe this to be hugely brilliant from the team, especially how Sage contributors are rewarded based on their contribution to the platform.
The problem with this however is - With growth marketing and the idea of building a viral loop - the flywheel is not complete and this has resulted in the issue with the new voting system.
Firstly, The community's disapproval of the voting system and how it seems not to favour active members is the result of an incomplete flywheel.
Secondly, the little social attribution back to celo as a whole from the Celo sage platform is also the result of an incomplete flywheel. The current traffic Generated by Celo Sage has the potential to be 10X.
So There’s a need to fix things.
Community is everything and the Celo team has proven that they understand this concept.
That’s why I have taken time to work on this proposal to help the team build a proposed flywheel system with huge positive Network effects that affect Celo as a whole.
In Joe’s statement, he mentioned that one of the reasons Celo Sage's Topic approval has moved to a voting system is because there’s a need to give the community the authority to vote for the topics.
